Farming Futures Conference

Don't miss your chance to attend an inspirational and informative day in Tamworth on 18 June, 2015. The inaugural "Farming Futures: Growing tomorrow, today" North West Local Land Services Community Advisory Group Conference is an event not to be missed by anyone involved in the farming fraternity, especially those who are part of a family farming or grazing enterprise.
The event is the organised by Kate Spry who is a member of the North West LLS community advisory group.
The day will feature industry–leading speakers including keynote presenter Pip Job who was the '2014 RIRDC National Rural Woman of the Year'.
Other speakers include Isobel Knight who will speak about the 12 areas of succession planning, James Smith from North West Agrifinance will provide insightful information on a number of crucial farm finance subjects and Meg Perceval who will speak about health and wellbeing of people living and working on farms
"The conference will focus on participants thinking about the future of their farming enterprise with integral topics such as finance, succession planning, mental health and well-being, with some important take-home messages,"said event organiser Kate Spry.
There will be a representative from Centrelink available on the day to answer any questions in regard to the new drought support measures.
Another highlight of the day will be inspirational speakers Derek and Kirrily Blomfield who were named '2014 Farmers of the Year'.
